Love yourself- Pandemic lessons

“Ask no questions and you will be told no lies ” as said by Charles Dickens.

How true is this quote in this present era? I just wonder hoe the genius predict the things well ahead of time!

Its hardly 50 years now that I came to this world and grew up. Always taught honesty and truthfulness by my parents, moral science classes took our tests to check our integrity. We were taught not to say lie for once. The values taught were grew stronger with time to become a good human being.

The time passed faster with turning the pages of the calendar at a fast pace. The speed of achieving “something” had hardly left any space to judge people. Suddenly, it seems, i celebrated my 50th birthday with all grey hairs! And what I realized while sitting in isolation was not in my wildest dreams. The more number of liars, cheaters, inhumane, uncivilized are surrounding me. The people have become opportunists, escapists of their work, rude, cunning sycophants are achieving everything! The hardworking, sincere, productive people are sidelined and considered as stupids. A short cut route is the most preferred and there is no place for research and analysis. The cunning lot remained busy in making money! You can born poor but you should not die poor- is the new mantra of this cacophonous world. If needed, do whatever but stay powerful! And money makes one the most powerful. The intellectuals remained quiet and allowed them to be ruled over by the less qualified junks. The people with money are respected and the people with quality are laughed at! Yes, the world has reached this state of showbiz that there is no point of return. The serious matters are no longer considered as serious if it hampers creating money. The “money” ruled the world and the “nature” is destroyed. Where have we landed?- to a pandemic and this isn’t the last virus! Still more to come!

Now the time is for us, the pious lot. Take your time out and start loving yourself. Love your family, take time out to spent more time with them. Cook good food, pursue your hobby- play a guitar or sing a song or dance like never before. Paint your canvass with lovely colors, play your favorite games indoor. Work for your boss but do not over indulge yourself to bring profits to your company if your efforts were not enough appreciated earlier. Remember, for your employers you are just a number but for your family you are the world!! Your absence will make your family sad, not others. So take precautions to stay healthy- not because of pandemic but always. Be confident, Be yourself, live for yourself and for your family. Let the sycophants rule the world but know inside that they will fail one day.

DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS TO POINT OUT THE MISTAKES AS YOU WILL BE TOLD THE LIES. THE SYCOPHANTS, THE CREEPERS, THE FLATTERERS ARE FANCY PEOPLE- BOUND TO FAIL. Do not try to correct them, you only do your work correctly.

The writer writes to share thoughts and the thoughts comes from the reality, the daily experiences, the hurts and burns creates a writer or a poet or a painter. As my blog site name indicates that my stories revolves around my life, so this piece.

What would be the thought of the readers who are reading this post? If I ask you what would be one thing that you want to teach you child? You can post your comments below. I would definitely want my child to be a good human being with the capability of distinguish between a genuine and a flatterer. That’s the only way to return to the good and happy world like before.
